Sicily is a
way of life.
Not
a destination.
Your personal insider concierge on the ground. From your first enquiry to the last hidden gem by the sea — we show you the Sicily no tourist ever finds.
Others book Sicily. We live it.
Most people arrive as outsiders and know Sicily only from travel guides. We live here, know the people and open doors that remain closed to tourists.
At home on-site
We are based in Custonaci / Cornino — right by the sea, right among the people. No outsourcing, no remote management.
Personal network
Horse ranch, local restaurants, boat hire, cultural guides, event organisers — all personal contacts, built up over years.
Trilingual
German, Italian, English — on-site, by phone, in writing. We don't just translate words; we translate the culture along with them.

Not a travel agency.
Your insider concierge on the ground.
You don't experience Sicily through travel guides — you experience it through people. For Laura, Sicily is not just a place; it is family, history and home. Her family has lived in Custonaci for generations. This deep connection provides access to Sicily that goes far beyond what travel agencies or guidebooks can offer.
Sicilia Profonda was not born from a business idea, but from demand. Today we combine local networks, organisation and personal care with entrepreneurial thinking.

Four ways to experience Sicily deeply
Not a beach holiday, but real experience, connection and transformation.
Teams & Companies
Team building that truly connects. Not bowling or escape rooms — but cooking together on a horse ranch, hiking through Sicilian macchia and evenings with local wine by the sea. We coordinate, recommend and accompany — you book independently or directly on-site.
Seminar providers & Coaches
You bring your seminar — we handle the rest. Seminar rooms near nature or the sea, logistics coordination and on-site support, on-site translation and an evening programme for free days. A genuine market gap that we fill for you.
Digital Nomads
Work where others come on holiday. Productive in the morning, by the sea in the afternoon. We recommend accommodation with good internet, show you co-working-friendly cafés and connect you with local events and encounters.
Families & Friend groups
A Sicily holiday without stress or tourist traps. You enjoy — we plan. From accommodation to hidden-gem restaurants to secluded coves that only locals know.
No bus tours. Real moments.
All experiences are based on personal partnerships on the ground. Every programme is put together individually for you.
Cooking & Food
Cooking Sicilian food on the horse ranch. A communal table outdoors. Market visits in Trapani with explanations of local produce.
Hiking & Nature
The Zingaro nature reserve along the clifftops. Ranch routes through the macchia. Hidden coves known only to locals.
Horse Ranch
Horse trekking through coastline and macchia. A full ranch day with stable visit, groundwork and a ride — for beginners and experienced riders alike.
Boat Tours
Along the coast to hidden grottoes, turquoise coves and the Egadi Islands. Snorkelling in spots you won't find on Google.
Culture & Cities
Trapani, Erice, Segesta, Marsala, Palermo — with local storytelling instead of an audio guide. Markets, salt pans, Norman castles and street food.
Hidden Gems
Grotta Mangiapane — a prehistoric cave with a village inside it. Monte Erice in the mist. Local festivals, hidden beaches and places with no Tripadvisor listing.
Northwest Sicily — off the beaten track
Three anchor points, countless experiences in between.
Click on a location and discover what awaits you there.
The map shows only a selection of our favourite places.
But Western Sicily is much larger: between Marsala and Palermo lie historic towns, hidden coves, vineyards, nature parks and small villages that hardly anyone knows.
Many of the most beautiful spots appear on no standard travel map —
these are exactly the insider spots that define Sicilia Profonda.
